Candy Pop M&M'S Popcorn Easter Eggs

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups Candy Pop M&M'S or flavor of your choice.

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • Sprinkles (optional)

  • Food coloring (optional)

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Candy Pop:
    Place the Candy Pop M&M'S in a large mixing bowl.

  2. Make the sticky mixture:
    In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in sugar, corn syrup, salt, and gelatin powder. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a light boil and thickens slightly (about 2–3 minutes).

  3. Coat the Candy Pop:
    Pour the warm mixture over the Candy Pop M&M'S and gently mix until evenly coated. Let it cool slightly so it’s easier to handle. If adding food coloring, be sure to separate the different colored mixtures and popcorn into different bowls.

  4. Form the Candy Pop balls:
    Grease your hands with a little butter or cooking spray, then shape the mixture into medium-sized balls. Place them on parchment paper to set.

  5. Decorate & serve:
    Roll the Candy Pop M&M'S balls in sprinkles for extra festive fun. Let them cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
